Is this Famicom game an import?
I brought the Famicom version of "Mickey Mousecapade" today, and I am looking for Famicoms on Amazon to buy, but I was wondering. Are Famicoms region encoded, and if so, then how can I tell if the game I brought is an import? It has some English text, but the most of it is not in English. Anyway, can anyone please help? Thanks.
Also, what should I use for games that have are dirty? Should I use rubbing alcohol or something else? I do not think the game I brought is that dirty, but I just want to make sure.
If there is anything but english in the game or on the cover art then its not a north american cartridge. And Famicoms are region coded in a way, the plugs are different so they wont work over here and only Japanese produced games will work on it.
