Can all desktop computers work on wireless internet?
I’m going to get a desktop (haven’t chosen one yet) and i was wondering if it would work on wireless. I already have wireless router set up on my other computer.
Yes and no.
YES: All desktop that has a wireless card would work wireless, this is also true for bluetooth and infrared technology: to be able to work with bluetooth/infrared you need a bluetooth/infrared card in your PC or laptop.
NO: If your desktop doesn’t have wireless card, then you need a wireless adapter to be able to use the wireless router or others wireless devices. In this case I recommend buying a USB wireless adapter.
This is also true with bluetooth/infrared. If you need a to work with bluetooth/infrared, then buy a bluethooth/infrared adapter (the best is the USB bluethooth/infrared adapter)
If you need to buy the adapter, then verify that it works with your Operating System.
